No. There is no sign-up, and your progress is saved on your device.

The default and seasonal themes are family friendly. The game also includes an optional “OG Theme” with adult jokes and references. It is never on by default, but anyone can pick it in Settings, so parents may want to check the theme settings.

Automatically, every 60 seconds by default (you can change this in Settings), and again when you switch tabs or close the game. In the browser, your save lives in that browser on that device.

Yes. Use Export Save in the in-game menu to download your save file, then Import Save on the other device or browser.

Sorry, we can't. Your save never leaves your device, so we have no copy of it. Clearing your browser's site data or playing in a private window removes it. Exporting a backup now and then is the best protection.

No, there is no offline progress. Your buildings only earn while the game is open, so leave it running in a tab if you want to come back to more booty.

It resets your booty, buildings and upgrades in exchange for a permanent +50% to clicks and production per level, up to level 30. It unlocks once you are holding one million booty. The prestige guide has the details.

Usually, yes. Good bonuses are about three times as common, the bad ones last 45 seconds at most, and some of them turn out to be boosts in disguise. See the bonus guide.

Yes. Choose a theme and variant in Settings, including Mystical Pirate Cove and seasonal spring, summer, autumn and winter themes. Your progress carries over, and you can also turn off background animations in Graphics Settings.
