Prestige is Booty Clicker's reset button with a reward. You give up your current run in exchange for a permanent bonus that makes every future run faster. There are 30 prestige levels.
When can I prestige?
You can prestige when you are holding at least 1M booty (one million). Each level after that needs 1.5× as much as the one before. It is booty in hand that counts, not lifetime earnings, so don't spend it all just before you plan to prestige.

The bonus
Each prestige level adds +50% to both your clicks and your building output. It is additive, so level 2 gives ×2, level 10 gives ×6 and level 30 gives ×16. Bonus pop-ups also start appearing more often.

When should I prestige?
Prestige as soon as your growth starts to stall. The early levels are cheap and each one is a big relative jump: level 1 alone makes you 50% faster, and level 2 doubles your original speed.
- Later levels need much more booty, so it becomes worth pushing each run further before you reset.
- There are six prestige achievements, including one for prestiging within five minutes of starting a run.
