Booty Clicker is an idle clicker: you earn booty by clicking a treasure chest, spend it on buildings that earn booty for you, and keep reinvesting until the numbers get silly. Here is everything you need for your first session.
1. Click the chest
The big treasure chest in the middle of the screen is your first source of income. Each click is worth 1 booty to begin with. Grab a few dozen and you can afford your first building.
2. Buy an Ancient Map
The Ancient Map costs 15 booty and earns 0.1 booty per second on its own. That sounds tiny, but buildings stack: ten maps earn a whole booty every second without you touching anything.
- Buildings unlock one at a time. The next building appears once you have bought at least one of the building before it.
- Every copy you buy makes the next copy 12% more expensive, so spread your booty across several buildings.

3. Pick up Click Training
The first upgrade you will see is Click Training 1. It costs 50 booty and adds 1 to every click, doubling your clicking power straight away. Nine more Click Training upgrades unlock as your total click count grows, adding up to 231 extra booty per click once you have them all.
4. Watch for bonus pop-ups
Every so often an icon pops up somewhere on screen. Click it within 10 seconds to collect it. Most are good (a Click Frenzy can make each click worth up to five times as much) but a few are traps. The bonus guide covers all seven.
5. How saving works
There is no offline progress. Your buildings only earn while the game is open, so leave the tab or app running if you want to come back to a bigger pile.
- The game saves automatically every 60 seconds, and again when you switch tabs or close the game. You can change the interval in Settings.
- In the browser your save lives in that browser only. Clearing site data deletes it.
- Use Export Save in the menu to download a backup, and Import Save to restore it or move it to another browser.
